Michael Baye and John Morgan's research has
been independently funded by the National Science Foundation, Fulbright
Commission, and other government agencies.
Along with Patrick Scholten,
they have also consulted for policymakers at the state, federal and
international levels. Current and past clients include the US Department
of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and the Canadian Competition Bureau.

analysis and research has shaped public policy in a variety of sectors of
the economy, including telecommunications, energy, chip manufacturing, and
retailing.
In addition, expert
economic opinions have been provided in a variety of cases involving
pricing strategies, the valuation of assets, determining the economic
effects of mergers, and antitrust issues.
